Laser Piles – Haemorrhoid Surgery

Laser-assisted treatment may be offered to selected patients with symptomatic haemorrhoids or piles. Laser energy is used to target haemorrhoidal tissue through small access points, with the aim of reducing its blood supply and size. Patients may experience less postoperative discomfort and a faster return to routine activities in suitable cases. However, not every patient requires surgery or is an appropriate candidate for a laser procedure. Treatment is selected after assessing the grade of piles, bleeding, prolapse and associated anal conditions.
