Anaemia, Fatigue & Unexplained Weakness
Persistent tiredness investigated to its cause — iron, B12, thyroid, glucose and beyond — not treated with guesswork.
Persistent tiredness or weakness may result from anaemia, iron or vitamin deficiencies, thyroid disorders, diabetes, chronic infection, inflammation, sleep problems, medication effects or other medical conditions.
We evaluate symptoms such as low energy, dizziness, breathlessness, palpitations, poor concentration, hair loss and reduced exercise tolerance. Assessment may include blood counts, iron studies, vitamin B12 and folate levels, thyroid and glucose testing, and additional investigations guided by the clinical findings.
Treatment is directed at the cause rather than relying on unsupervised supplements. Significant anaemia may also require evaluation for blood loss, poor absorption or an underlying chronic illness.
